The Pink Slips ‘Biggie’ Christmas Lunch at the Crown

Travel Details.
For those ladies travelling by coach from Mornington, please be at the Sober Mule Cafe at the Homemaker Centre in Bungower Rd for a 10:00am sharp departure. The coach will stop in Frankston for a pick up at the Frankston Power Centre adjacent Harvey Norman. Please be at this pick up by 10:15am.
The coach will depart Crown around 4:00pm.

For those ladies going straight to Crown, the lunch is  being held in the in the Conservatory.

Pink Slips – 2014 Christmas Lunch Crown Report

Two buses, filled with excited ladies, left Mornington looking forward to the long awaited Pink Slips Christmas lunch at the Crown Conservatory.

It was feast for both eyes and appetite. Prawns, oysters and all types of seafood, plus exotic Asian and Middle Eastern dishes were on offer. Of course there were also plenty of traditional favourites to be had including turkey, hams and Christmas pudding.  After drinks to set the mood, the offerings on the amazing buffet were enjoyed by all.   Of course, many were keeping an eye on dessert buffet to make sure they had room left! The choice of desserts was amazing. Every imaginable type of mousse, Vodka choc tarts, every possible tart, liquid chocolate, ice creams, yum!

Somehow we found time to draw raffle winners, two very happy ladies with Crown vouchers and cash!  A great day was had by all.

Thank you to Cheryl for coordinating another great Pink Slips day out, and planning has started for another Conservatory lunch next year.  Don’t miss it!

10th Anniversary Cruise Oct 2014

Christmas in July.

Join the Pink Slips at the Amstel Golf Club in Cranbourne for what promises to be a fun filled day out. The function starts from 10am with scones tea and coffee for morning tea followed by morning melodies then a two course lunch. All for only $20! It’s Christmas [well sort of] so we also are having a $10 Kris Kringle. Celebrate an ‘Early Mother’s Day’ Lunch at the Conservatory at Crown.

A bus load of ladies ventured to Crown for a very special early Mothers' Day Lunch.  
Lunch was in the " Conservatory", a superb room overlooking the Yarra.  The food was a most
amazing seafood/Asian/Indian buffet with desserts to die for- the word diet was taboo! 
After a lengthy lunch, time for a bit of shopping, browsing and the occasional flutter 
on the pokies, it was agreed a wonderful day was had by all.
Many thanks to Cheryl for all her work towards the day and remember, keep the date 
free for a Christmas lunch on Monday December 1st.   We may have to book 2 buses!!!
