Waves September 2009
Sixteen Pink Slips enjoyed a delicious lunch at Waves Restaurant on Frankston foreshore, the photos tell it all! Leigh was our lucky winner and a big thankyou must go to Cheryl H. for organizing the get-together.

Maquay Lunch
Maquay International Restaurant was the wonderful setting for our July Pink Slips lunch. Our two course meal was enjoyed by all, as you can see from the photos! A big thank you to Lois for arranging our day. How appropriate that Lois was the lucky door prize winner!

Sages Cottage Farm Day
Glorious Autumn weather combined with the beautiful grounds of Sages Cottage Farm, meant 60 adults and many children were set to enjoy a fabulous day. Enjoy they did!
The Cancer Council morning tea started our day and enabled us to donate $300 to the Cancer Council of Victoria.
Next the farm tour, a great hit with young and old. Our photos show some very happy little ones getting very close to chooks, bunnies, “Chelsea” the cow, “Chloe” the pig and many more animals. We gained more knowledge of the work at the farm. Liz Campbell, co-ordinator of volunteers, explained how the cottage operates under the Menzies Foundation and offers vocational training, opportunities and support for disadvantaged children in the area. The “Mystic” tour proved very popular as did the mini-market in the gardens.
Thank you for supporting our day, enabling the Pink Slips to present a $300 donation to Sages Cottage Farm.
Our next lunch will be on Friday 10th July at noon at Maquay International Restaurant, Hastings. It will be a 2 course meal including tea or coffee for $25p.p. Bookings are essential, call Lois on 59792787 or 0417017990.

Manyung Gallery Lunch
Pink Slips Ladies and baby Jai, took advantage of a beautiful day for a delicious lunch and tour of Manyung Gallery.
The photos show some happy faces and Nanna Cheryl and Jai even had a chance to read a book and have a chat!
